ABOUT ANTS
The Garden Ant has a large head, characteristic waist and long legs.
They feed on a vast range of foods especially sweet things found indoors. Pharaohs and Ghost Ants are less common but can be particularly challenging to eliminate, particularly if inappropriate treatments are used such as ant sprays, or if the nest is disturbed.
Look out for
- Ant trails: Worker ants search for feed then trail in large numbers when they find it
- Internal and external cracks in the building structure that will allow them to enter
